Was there ever in fact a *Stoltz Cheese Corporation?* The internet is silent on this important detail, though in some lesser Our Gang way this Stoltz hydra -- the Kraft of another age? -- was somewhat akin to the Acme Corp. so beloved by Wile E. Coyote. I also see no indication that *Jewett Baby Talc* (see Moan & Groan, Inc.) was a real ongoing concern, though perhaps it was a spinoff of a more prominent entity in the then-thriving baby-talc industry. Maybe they got wiped out by product-liability suits. Amusingly, the infamous weep-waah cake of "Birthday Blues" legend was made (or so they'd have us believe) on a "Reliable" stove. THAT was in fact an ongoing concern. But I get a faint feeling that it did not generally produce bulging cakes which emitted strange and disquieting noises.

Not sure if you're being serious or not, but often as not, names in adverts and the like were taken from the cast, crew, and friends thereof.

Assume 90% of what I post is tongue-in-cheek, though respectfully so. I loved and love these shorts.
