Also worth noting it could be any Buckwheat. No evidence this is THE Buckwheat; there were a lot of imposters.

So recently I found this imgur.com/a/c2ZroNQ in a book at a thrift store what do you guys think? A signed photo of buckwheat addressed to who I assume is Carl Switzer for his 30th burthday If you look at signed photos in the favourite Our Gang photos thread and the Fan photos threads you'll find other examples in which the kids have written 'to my pal' or 'to my friend,' they were probably just writing whatever dedication the recipient had asked them to write. Carl could have been anyone. Carl Switzer's 30th birthday was in 1957. Billie Thomas was then 26 years old, he'd finished a spell in the military only a year earlier. He was no longer involved in the movie industry and there doesn't seem to be any evidence that he was still corresponding with Carl Switzer. The only former Our Gang kid who was still friendly with Carl was Tommy Bond. However, if for some reason Billie Thomas had decided to send a photo of himself to Carl Switzer on his 30th birthday, why would he send one of himself as a child and why would he sign it Buckwheat? Surely if he was still on friendly terms with Carl he'd have signed any correspondence with his real name, Billie. After all he didn't refer to Carl as 'Alfalfa' so why would he refer to himself as 'Buckwheat'?
