Apart from one episode the MGM shorts are still in copyright to MGM. The complete set of them is available as a DVD set and individual episodes are also available to buy online as downloads. The one episode which has fell out of copyright and is now in the public domain can be watched for free on YouTube. Here it is...

That's fascinating. Why did it change? It seemed more like the current Our Gang Wikia but with a better colour scheme. It's a pity that the forum wasn't added to that existing site, rather than replacing it. I was a bit disappointed that Tommy Bupp wasn't listed in the cast though. Mark Brumfield was in charge of all of this. I think it was a having time to update it, and also perhaps a financial issue. This is why I'll be using wix.com to build my website. Free and easy to you. Here's a small preview. I'd like to ask, will the site contain any videos? I know I don't expect any of the two feature length films to be uploaded, if any videos.

I think most of the existing silents are in public domain, as well as several of the pre-MGM era talkies, so it would be nice to have them all gathered together in one place.

The first 54 silents are PD, as is Playin' Hookey. Only three of the Roach talkies are PD - BEAR SHOOTERS, SCHOOL'S OUT, and OUR GANG FOLLIES OF 1938. As mentioned above, WALDO'S LAST STAND is the sole PD MGM. Then there's the various features the kids made for other studios, newsreels, TV promos, and other bits and pieces.

I think those extra video clips, newsreels and other bits and pieces would be great to have gathered together in one location. As it currently stands unless you already know that a specific clip exists then you're not going to search for it or find it.

Something that looked promising was a fanfic set at the beginning of the series, but now it appears it was deleted.

Would it be better if accounts required passwords rather than just usernames or email addresses?

Would it be better if accounts required passwords rather than just usernames or email addresses? I already need to enter my user name/email address and my password in order to login to this forum.

I assume that you must have left of your own accord? What brought you back?

Apparently not.

I came across an Irish Christmas ad from the 1990s, depicting a child being able to contact "Santa" on her toy telephone. Apart from the fantasy aspect, you could see one of the younger female Rascals trying to contact Santa through a toy telephone. Also, I can't see a boy in this girl's place. Girls present differently to the audience and the cuteness factor is different.
