Spotted Dick - the famous UK desert. Don't know why they changed it. In WALDO'S LAST STAND, the kids were originally going to sell ________________________ to Froggy. Ruby Slippers. However, an MGM executive wisely realized this would never work....on the grounds that Ruby Red wouldn't properly display in Black & White! (Huh?) In HELPING HANDS (1941), the original ending was to consist of __________________________________.

In TIME OUT FOR LESSONS, Alfalfa was originally supposed to have failed at college because ________________________ Alfalfa concentrated too much on his studies, and his Football Game suffered, thereby costing Alfie his scholarship. Of course, there was no way the MGM brass would let this immoral outrage pass! In DAD FOR A DAY (1939), instead of a Father & Son picnic, the original setting was to be ___________________________.

A 'drop your kid off permanently' picnic. This was the writers' attempt at explaining why the kids were sometimes seen living in orphanages. In other words, an attempt at continuity. FARM HANDS was originally going to take place on a ............... "Hands Across The Farms Of America" fundraising event, but this was quickly dismissed as a silly idea that could never work. Instead of Janet, FAMILY TROUBLES (1943) was initially supposed to focus on the domestic issues of ____________________________.

In DOIN' THEIR BIT, instead of Lady Liberty Beverly was to have portrayed......... Hanoi Hannah, and in an additional weird time continuum twist, Robin Williams as Adrian Cronauer shows up as the show's emcee saying repeatedly "Follow the ho chi minh trail" to a stunned audience with mouths agape, not really knowing how else to react to the bizarre display unleashed before them! In TINY TROUBLES (1939), ____________________________ was/were to be featured, instead of ''fidgets''.

Don Ho. However, the song hadn't become popular enough for the name to work.
In BENJAMIN FRANKLIN JUNIOR, Mickey was originally going to be inspired by Ben Franklin to ______________________________________________

...electrocute himself. In CALLING ALL KIDS, the kids were to have performed a _______________________ Trick designed to extract better scripts for more appropriately funny story ideas! This idea was blocked for obvious reasons! In DON'T LIE! (1942), the lie was originally about __________________, and was made by ___________________________.

America; its presidential candidates. 1-2-3 GO! was originally going to be a film about........ Yet another annoying method for parents and other authority figures to get Greenpoint's youth off their hindquarters, so to speak, and be good, productive citizens. Basically, a random adult approaches a kid, and barks "1-2-3 GO!" Yeah, real effective. Aren't you glad the MGM scriptwriters rewrote this? The HELPING HANDS (1941) were originally supposed to _______________________________________.

In ROBOT WRECKS, __________________________ was originally going to be in the robot costume, which was to be powered by ____________________ . Kenny Baker, but he couldn't get a green card. The robot costume was to be powered by marigolds and gamma rays, which oddly enough, required a green card of a different sort! The above mention is meant as a tribute to the man who played the most famous robot of all, R2D2 of the Star Wars saga, who just passed away over the weekend! May Kenny Baker rest in peace!Instead of a midget criminal, TINY TROUBLES (1939) was originally to feature ______________________________.
