In searching my attic I found an old 8mm from 1924 titled, "Baby Laundry." I have never seen this title on any of the lists (221 known to date). Has anyone else seen or heard of this episode? The reel is in great shape but I don't dare watch it in case it is the last known copy. Please help? ?

What you have is a film released years ago for home viewing. Excel re-titled their films to something else and most are butchered to last about 3 minutes long (100ft). I'm sure that "Baby Laundry" is part of "Baby Clothes" from 1926 if the "1924" printed on your box or film is a misprint. If not, it's another episode that is *not* lost, but I'm sure it's Baby Clothes.
Titles of the lost episodes are as follows:
-about half the footage from the first episode, "Our Gang" -Yale vs. Harvard -Edison, Marconi & Co. -Fair and Muddy -Growing Pains (oddly, I've seen a shortened version of this on eBay twice) -The Holy Terror
School Begins was a lost film for a long time until it was discovered recently, though it's in poor quality. I also have a friend in the UK who has a film collection of the series, and a few that he has are still lost and have not "officially" surfaced. They are reel one of Your Own Back Yard (reel two was donated to the Library of Congress in 1979), The Old Wallop (one of the very first three MGM silents, all of which are lost), the first episode, and among one or two other major rarities I can't remember. I'm hoping to receive professional VHS transfers of them all. I've already gotten all the footage known to exist of the first film.

Mark, Thank you for you reply. It seems that you have quite a bit of knowledge about The Little Rascals.
Here's some additional information about the 8mm that I have. I know it's not Baby Clothes and I know it's not from Excel.
I opened the box and looked at the title frames. All say Baby Laundry and look to be original Our Gang title pictures. The box has the following information on it: AC Camera Exchange Univex Movies - 8mm 50ft Our Gang Comedy Hal Roach Studios Baby Laundry - 1924 81008 Distributed by Universal Camera Corp. New York City Copy Right - Pathe Exchange Inc. MCMXXIV
If you want, I can email you with a picture of the box and title frames from the reel. Let me know. Thanks - Derrick
