I don't know if this has been posted on here before, but I just thought it would be nice to share since I didn't know this until today. allanellenberger.com/tag/weston-doty/Attachments:

I knew what had happened to them but that's the first time that I've seen a period newspaper clipping about the tragedy. There was no mention of them being in Our Gang either, but back in those days, as there were no credits on the Gang films, nobody knew who most of the kids were.

By coincidence I watched Every Man For Himself (1924) last night, which also featured a pair of twins. And like the Dotys they also died young. Charles De Briac (Scrappy? Sissy?) Born 15th November 1915. Died on January 6, 1935 in Manhattan, New York City, New York (age 19). Raymond De Briac (Scrappy? Sissy?) Born 15th November 1915. Died on December 15, 1938 in Guernica Military Hospital, Spain (age 23). Both brothers were born with the surname Epailly but for some reason they were later known as De Briac.
