The popular children’s toy of the same name. In one particular short, SKIP TO MY LOU, the kids build their own Skip-It to face off against rich kid Jerry Tucker in a skipping contest. In the end, everyone lost, as they were all brutally mocked by Jackie Lynn Taylor for playing with a girl’s toy. What happened to Jackie after that? Jackie and her other girl friends played with the "Girl's Toy". She sure knew how to score free stuff.
What other free toys and other stuff did Jackie score from the Gang, and how did they feel about that?

The fire engine, which Wally stupidly lost in a poker game. He was kicked out of the Gang shortly after that.
Have you any vanilla today?

Well, it's a little person dressed up like a child, so no, not really.
What's it all about, Alfalfa?

She became a leg model, hence every cinematic shot (until 2014) of such leggy beauties as Ann Reinking, Julie Newmar and even Nicole Kidman actually featured Taylor's legs.
Why no mention of the 2018 Stanley (not Oliver) Cup in the description of Washington as "first in war, first in peace...?" (Btw, "Ovie" would have been a great Rascals name, and his English is no worse than Porky's).

Because it didn't place anywhere in the American League.
And didn't you skip over a couple answers back there?

Yes, my bad. I had the wrong page. But, treating on the other questions seriatim: The gang was mightily pissed; we have some tutti-frutti for you-tie; and it's all about singing badly, thus explaining the career of Bob Dylan.
Why wasn't a THIRD obese kid added to the crew, to defuse the simmering and always dangerous Chubby-Cobb situation? Triangulation would have helped.

There was concern that too many fat kids would get repetitive.
What did Kermit the Frog think of the Rascals' home made shows, and how were they an influence on him?

Kermie thought they were just meh! On the other hand, The Muppet Show critics have cited Butch and Woim as considerable influences on their style.
In what way did the Rascals influence John Denver?

Which were Joe Stalin's fave Rascals shorts?

YOUNG SHERLOCKS, for the kiddie town scene and SPANKY, primarily because of Wheezer playing Marks the Lawyer (Joe thought it was “Marx,” only not one of the Brothers).
Though he loved most of the pre-MGM Our Gangs. So much so that historians say he’d always be “rushin’ to see the next one playing at the theater.”
What was Petey’s favorite Our Gang short?

LOLOL.
Petey's fave was "The Pooch", because he always was interested in the possibility of converting from Methodist to Salami-ism. But luckily John Wesley talked him out of it. ("Mmmmm.... potluck suppers...")
What with all the mean dogcatchers and takers-away of orphans (etc.) in Our Gang shorts, would Roach have agreed with Reagan that the nine scariest words in the language are "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"?

Nope. Carneys; as in Art Carney, and Carnie Wilson, which isn't nine words, but Roach found them scarier than the government line, just the same. Nobody knew why.
What type of fowl did Nero eat?

He ate a fowl... erm foul ball during the annual Roman Baseball Game. He figured concealing the ball would ensure that the opposing team would fall for a home run. And what better way of hiding the ball than eating it? Well, there are a number of better alternatives, but Nero wasn't the brightest.
With Disney acquiring so much, why haven't they gotten the rights to Our Gang yet?

Because
The Gang would beat up Disney if they tried.
Walt Disney lost a bet with Hal Roach in 1932, and a written promise to never take over any of his series in perpetuity was part of the agreed upon terms. Who is Otto, and what does he Phocus on?

Phooey! Posts crossed. Now I have to answer two.
--------------------------------------------
Because Mickey Mouse didn't want to be upstaged by Mickey Daniels or Mickey Gubitosi.
-----------------------------------------------
Otto is Sergeant Snorkels's dog, and he phocuses on keeping Beetle Bailey in line.

Did Mary's sister and Sheldon get married after the end of "Thundering Fleas"?
