I used to have a whole load of Declan videos on a USB hard drive but I can't remember where I put it. I think there were two TV performances of Carrickfergus that were recorded around the time of his album release when he made a number of TV appearances to promote it. The other recording is probably still on YouTube somewhere too.
Jaren Binks is something special. He has four videos posted on his YouTube channel but they were all posted several years ago with nothing newer since.
Here's something different. Grant Ellman, the drummer with Oregon kid rock band Still Pending, got together with Still Pending bass player Andrew Turel to record "Altitude" as part of a school video project. Pretty impressive guitar playing for a drummer and a bassist. Grant wrote the song, recorded the music, shot the video and edited it too. Grant has dark hair and Andrew is blonde.

That's a highly polished video presentation for a school project. Many of the shots are simple and don't go in for complicated effects, but it's well beyond what I would expect from any school project. And, of course, their guitar playing is incredibly precise.

Here's Still Pending's very first video "Stop Spinning" with original bass player Ian Rogers who left over musical differences after their first album (he was more interested in jazz). They wrote this song and indeed all the songs on their first album themselves.

After Ian Rogers left Andrew Turel joined as Still Pending's new bass player and they recorded their second CD, Graffiti, this is a live performance of the title track.

Back to something calm and relaxing. Gerald Ahern, filmed in his hometown of Cobh singing 'One Voice'

They wrote this song and indeed all the songs on their first album themselves. I like his voice. It isn't flashy or powerful enough to drive the song by itself, but its quiet sweetness is more than adequate to make the song worth a listen. For a first video, especially, they did an excellent job.

Back to something calm and relaxing. Gerald Ahern, filmed in his hometown of Cobh singing 'One Voice' It takes a lot of courage for any kid to attempt that song, considering the inevitable comparisons to Billy Gilman. I like Gerald Ahern's style, but I've yet to hear anyone who could touch Billy Gilman, and One Voice was one of his greatest accomplishments.

How about a few videos from Mr. Cool....Uriah Shelton. I became a fan of his after watching the movie "Lifted" where he sings his heart out. I like some of his videos on his You Tube channel. He's just messing around in some of these, but his talent shines through...
You're Beautiful
Love Drunk
Burnin' Up
Decode
And here he is showing off his new Colossus Thor...
I'll always be a fan of his.

BTW here is Uriah in the movie "Lifted" in one of the songs featured. He is the star of the movie. It's a real tear jerker. Check it out if you haven't seen it...
I Miss You
He does all of his own singing in the movie, but it was recorded in a studio and used for the "live" performances.

Uriah Shelton is one of the best of the 'actor kids who post singing videos on YouTube.' His singing was far and away the best thing about Lifted! Although he's also a good actor and in my humble opinion he stole 'Alabama Moon.' I'm getting less fond of Troye Sivan, not because of his acting or singing but just because of him, I find him a lot less likeable than he once was, I feel as though a great deal of his original 'naturalness' seems to have been lost along the way. Anyhow here's one of his better later videos...

Time for some adults, sort of. Porcupine Tree are one of my favorite bands and this is the title track from their classic teenage wasteland album "Fear of a Blank Planet." It's a song about kids accompanied by a video full of kids. Although Porcupine Tree are an English band the video was shot in Finland. There are two versions of the song and the video. The first one is the 4m 19s single edit...
There is also a 7m 31s album version of the song...

The phased drumming and guitar from 2:50 onwards are just incredible, even after all these years.

Not a child anymore, but not quite an adult yet is Henry Black doing a cool version of "The Letter"...
